Fred earned his CPA certificate in 1975 when he was an agent with the Internal Revenue Service. While with the IRS he was a group manager, expert witness and taught income tax law to revenue agents.  He has been an instructor of accounting and income tax classes for the University of Arizona, Pima Community College and the Arizona State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Over the course of his career he has been involved in the planning and preparation of a multitude of income tax returns  He has been engaged as a forensic accountant and has testified as an expert witness in a variety of accounting and income tax cases, including being appointed as a Special Master to resolve issues in business disputes.

Jayne graduated from the University of Arizona with honors in 1982 and achieved her CPA certificate in 1983.  She was the executive director of finance for Tucson Unified School District for almost 10 years. In 1990, she decided to join Fred in the practice of public accounting.  She has taught accounting and income tax classes for the University of Phoenix and Pima Community College.
